SB22 has penned an agreement with ZingSports to deploy its sportsbook software to power sports betting in Puerto Rico

A self-styled industry interrupter, SB22 is a sports betting software development company aiming to develop ‘next generation’ platforms utilizing AI and advanced technology.

Under the terms of the deal, the firm will provide ZingSports – a prospective operator in the Puerto Rican sports betting market – with its sportsbook platform, featuring built-in Player Account Management and AI-driven promotional capabilities and an advanced betting engine.

The deal is subject to the island’s regulatory and licensing requirements and approvals as it gears up to offer sports betting for the first time.

“We are thrilled to partner with SB22 and launch a modern and differentiated sports betting offering in Puerto Rico,” said Jerry Foley, CEO of ZingSports. “This partnership will allow us to bring our customers the most engaging sports betting experience in the market.”

SB22 will leverage its platform to offer ZingSports customers betting markets for an array of sports including basketball, baseball, football, soccer and more.

A variety of betting options such as in-play betting and player props will also be available for Puerto Rican bettors.

“We are excited to join forces with ZingSports and bring our cutting-edge technology to the Puerto Rican market,” said Vik Shrestha, Chief Commercial Officer of SB22. “Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for sports betting fans in the region.”

Furthermore, fulfilling its ambition to have promotional material in-app, SB22 will offer free-to-play games as a means of acquisition and retention.

Foley added: “We are confident that this partnership will be a game-changer for sports betting in Puerto Rico. With SB22’s expertise and our commitment to providing the best possible experience, we are positive that this partnership will be a huge success.”

SB22 recently added years of industry experience and expertise to its ranks as former FanDuel executive Keith Wall joined as a strategic advisor to its board.

Vladimir Jovanovic, Chief Operating Officer of SB22, added: “ZingSports is an ideal partner and has a lot of creative ideas for fan engagement and acquisition. We are looking forward to combining their ideas with our technology and showcasing our collective efforts.”
