Prophet Exchange has partnered with SharpRank, selecting it as its official rating agency.

Under the terms of the agreement, SharpRank will act as an independent evaluator for Prophet Exchange, providing consumers with proprietary performance data and audits of sports betting content, offering further transparency and integrity.

“One of our core concepts is, ‘consumer protection first. Always.’ commented Chris Adams, Founder and CEO of SharpRank.

“When discussing this partnership, SharpRank and Prophet aligned in this consumer-first approach. Quantity means nothing to SharpRank if it does not screen through the quality filter and becoming Prophet’s independent evaluator checks both boxes. Plenty of companies talk about transparency, integrity, etc.

“And now, whether due to market conditions, upcoming state legislative sessions, or because it is core to them, industry thought leaders, like Prophet, are taking the most important step – the one of action. We are excited to assist in a forward-thinking, innovative platform’s growth.”

Prophet Exchange launched in New Jersey as a peer-to-peer sports betting platform in August 2022. It acts as an intermediary while taking on no risk, allowing users to set prices or place bets on prices set by other users.

The exchange does not add margin or vig to its odds and sets no limits to wagers, as long as customers have a counterparty to match their bet, before passing this benefit directly to customers by offering better prices.

Prophet Exchange also has plans to bring its peer-to-peer betting services to Ohio in 2023.

“After our successful debut in 2022, we are thrilled to partner with SharpRank as our official rating agency,” added Dean Sisun, Co-Founder and CEO of Prophet Exchange.

“We are a company built on transparency and integrity, so this was a hand-in-glove partnership.”
