Codere Online has agreed to an exclusive boxing sponsorship of TV Azteca, which retransmits boxing fights across Mexico, until the end of the year, extendable to 2023.

At a conference on Thursday in Mexico, the sponsorship deal was announced by Codere in a presentation attended by Leticia Palacios, Director of Operations for Codere Online in Mexico, and Rodolfo Vargas, one of the main narrators of the Box Azteca channel.

Codere notes that the agreement represents a new strategic move in the betting sector, giving the company great visibility in the exhibition meetings broadcasted every Saturday on the program Box Azteca by Azteca 7.

The operator will also exclusively develop and distribute digital fight content, in doing so seeking to consolidate itself in a new gaming category, expand its coverage, and reach more markets.

Thanks to the partnership with Codere, Box Azteca can reach a larger audience and complement its entertainment with sports betting. In recognition of its alliance with the operator, the brand changes its logo to green during these broadcasts.

Codere has had a strong presence in Mexico for years, beginning its operations in the country in 1998.

It is the largest operator and leading company in the gaming sector in the country, with 88 rooms, the Las Américas Racecourse, the Granja de las Américas family park, and the Citibanamex convention center, in addition to operating sports betting and online gaming.
