Hard Rock Sportsbook has secured an agreement with payment platform Nuvei Corporation, leveraging the latter’s payment solutions for its sports betting app.
Coming just days after announcing its launch in Virginia, Hard Rock Sportsbook will allow online and mobile users to instantly deposit funds to their gaming wallet from their bank account thanks to Nuvei’s instant bank transfer technology.
Furthermore, players can withdraw their funds from their Hard Rock account at any point using the payment platform’s integration with The Clearing House’s Real-Time Payments (RTP) network.
“Hard Rock Sportsbook is building the best product in the market with an engaging, entertaining and frictionless experience for the sports betting player and being able to provide instant access to funds is fundamental,” said Matt Primeaux, Executive Managing Director and President of Hard Rock Digital.

As it currently stands, around 70% of transactions processed by Nuvei are via instant payments on its RTP network.
However, the provider states that this could be higher and that the only limitation is that some players’ bank accounts are not connected to an RTP network – therefore those payments are processed via an Automated Clearing House (ACH) system as a backup.
