Independent sports betting rating agency SharpRank has begun its coverage with digital media and content-production company Parleh Media Group.
Joint winners of the SBC First Pitch competition at SBC Summit North America last year, the partnership comes on the back of SharpRank’s new sports expansions and Parleh’s sportsbook media content deals.
As an independent sports betting rating agency, SharpRank leverages proprietary metrics, data science, and ratings to expand the total addressable market it services.
Chris Adams, CEO of SharpRank, commented: “We separate platforms into three segments: Watch List, Coverage, and Out of Scope. Before we act as their ratings agency and initiate coverage – much like a listing on an exchange – we run our due diligence. The integrity of our proprietary ratings is paramount to our business.
“Bringing Parleh onto our platform was a simple decision. Their team checks all the boxes we look for in a partner – complete, accurate, talented, innovative, etc. Their presence, content, and multi-sport emphasis aligns with our expansion roadmap and the team they are building is outstanding.”
Based in Toronto, Parleh is a digital media company that demystifies sports betting for fans with easily understood, entertaining and informative videos across the spectrum of sport and culture, supporting top-of-the-funnel customer acquisition for its partners.
Parleh is just one of several media properties that are adopting the SharpRank platform, including Gannett’s family of media outlets, Sports Illustrated, and Champion Gaming.
“We were impressed by SharpRank when we listened to their presentation at the First Pitch Competition, recognizing how the company offered our talent a differentiator over our competitors,” said Mark Silver, CEO and Founder of Parleh Media Group.
“This partnership is another step in establishing our credibility in the marketplace as a trusted source for sports bettors and fans who are embracing wagering as a fun way to engage in sports.”
