Igaming platform provider Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) can look forward to growing its existing business in New Jersey following confirmation this week that its subsidiary, iGaming Cloud Inc, has been granted a permanent casino service industry enterprise license (CSIE) from the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).
The application was first filed back in June 2018, since which time GiG has supported Hard Rock International’s casino operations in the Garden State under a so-called transactional waiver pending the final approval.
The license, granted this week, will run for five years and gives GiG a permanent licence to provide its real-money online casino platform solution to operators in the state of New Jersey.
Richard Brown, CEO of GiG, welcomed the approval, saying: “We are delighted to receive the CSIE license after a long and comprehensive process. This is a great achievement for GiG and gives us a solid confirmation that our platform, procedures and operations are meeting the highest standards out there.”
GiG’s New Jersey partnership with Hard Rock International was forged in February 2018 with the stated intention of launching a standout online casino product with the “…sizzle of the Hard Rock music, entertainment and lifestyle brand”. November 2019 saw the addition of an omnichannel sportsbook to the site.
