DraftKings continues the roll out of its Casino product suite this week in association with Hollywood Casino at Charlestown Races in West Virginia.
The launch includes the firm’s Casino standalone mobile application and customers will also be able to access DraftKings Casino via the DraftKings Sportsbook mobile application. The app features virtual, branded table games including Blackjack and Roulette.
The Mountain State now joins New Jersey and Pennsylvania as states where DraftKings Casino is available for customers to play. West Virginians can now access the variety of games both through the DraftKings Casino app directly or also via the Sportsbook app where Casino platform will remain embedded.
This latest development caps a busy early July for the DFS and sportsbook operator which last week launched its standalone Casino app in Pennsylvania as well as opening a temporary retail sportsbook facility at Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado, in conjunction with Twin River Worldwide Holdings.
DraftKings’ West Virginia launch of its Casino product suite comes as the state revealed encouraging receipts from its sportsbooks from the period July 1 2019 to June 30 2020. While COVID has taken some of the shine off the total figures, the state still took $257.3m in wagers, turning a profit of just over $19m.
