Gaming content provider Pragmatic Play has appointed Victor Arias as its new Vice President of its Latin America business as the company looks to establish itself in the region.

Arias’ role will focus on broadening the firm’s presence and growth within the regulated territories in Latin America through a clear business development strategy.

He joins the firm with a long history in the igaming industry, having worked for both B2C and B2B businesses across the globe during his 20-year career, with a keen focus on growth in regulated Latin American jurisdictions.

Arias will also head the firm’s new Argentina-based Latin American hub, working with a team of three executives to achieve the supplier’s goals in the region.

Melissa Summerfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “We are thrilled to have Victor join us, and look forward to his impressive industry experience benefiting our growing team in Latin America.

“Expanding our presence in Latin America has been a key target for us, so adding Victor is an exciting step for us.”

Arias commented on his new role, saying: “I’m delighted to join Pragmatic Play which has a strong reputation as one of the leading multi-product providers in the industry. The team has a hugely exciting ambition for growth in LatAm, and I look forward to heading the hub as we look to embark on this next step for the company.”

Pragmatic Play currently delivers up to four new slot titles a month, as well as an extensive range of Live Casino and Bingo products through its multi-vertical offering. The company’s entire portfolio is available through a single API integration.
