SportCaller, the free-to-play (FTP) sports-game provider, and DFS operator FanDuel have combined efforts to produce a series of Win From Home (WFH) props prediction games.
The initiative forms part of SportCaller’s bid to engage and retain players for its operator clients during the live sports shutdown – a subject that the firm’s MD Cillian Barry covered during a presentation at this week’s SBC Digital Summit. You can see the key session takeaways here.
Win From Home tests customers’ knowledge of subjects ranging from last week’s NFL Draft to reality TV, current affairs, politics and even the weather. FanDuel customers – who can access the game from both Sportsbook and Fantasy logins – are currently competing every day for bragging rights and an attainable prize pot which is settled at the end of the week.
The questions use a familiar props-performance format, asking players to make five predictions each day. Any player achieving a pass-mark of 70% or better is then in with a chance to win a share of $2,500 each week.
The firm’s question-alternating functionality and a deep data set, eliminate the risk of repetitive questions or system-manipulation, improving the customer experience along the way with a varied, topical challenge.
According to SportCaller, the new partnership extends its growing global influence in the US market where it already enjoys a firm foothold, courtesy of its established suite of ongoing games with horse racing network TVG. This popular props series, it added, will also assist FanDuel in engaging fans in new and unique ways.
Barry said: “As working from home is the new normal, it’s great to team up with FanDuel to engage their customers with our Win From Home free-to-play. We’re delighted to be extending our ongoing partnership, showcasing creative flexibility in a period that demands adaptive, responsible innovation. Accumulated daily returning players have averaged over 60% for this exciting new game.”
