The Caesars Board of Directors has confirmed the appointment of Anthony Rodio as replacement CEO for Mark Frissora. Currently CEO of Affinity Gaming, he will be transitioning to Caesars during the next 30 days and will be based in Las Vegas. The Board also announced the creation of a Transaction Committee to oversee ongoing efforts in creating additional shareholder value.

Rodio has nearly four decades of experience in the gaming industry. In that time he has held tenures with Affinity Gaming, Tropicana Entertainment, Hollywood Casino, Harrah’s Entertainment, Trump Marina Hotel Casino, Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort; and Penn Gaming.
