Mount Airy Casino Resort, one of Pennsylvania’s smaller casinos, has gained the necessary means to become a leading player in the state’s online gaming space. The casino has forged a deal with The Stars Group, which will see the new owner of Sky Bet provide Mount Airy with an all-inclusive sports betting, poker, casino, slots and table games experience.
The Group will utilise its existing proprietary technology and player account management platform to deliver a single account, common wallet and mobile depositing/withdrawal options, as well as a seamless offering of betting and gaming options to its customers.
The two companies are yet to confirm which brands will be deployed in the Pennsylvania market, but BetStars rather than Sky Bet is looking favourite, given the recent New Jersey announcement.
Matt Primeaux, SVP of strategy and operations for The Stars Group in the USA, said: “We’re excited to take this next step as The Stars Group looks to broaden its presence in the United States. In partnership with Mount Airy Casino Resort, we believe we’re well positioned to capitalise on opportunities in the Commonwealth by bringing our world leading offerings to Pennsylvania players.”
Vincent Jordan, vice president of marketing and gaming operations at Mount Airy Casino Resort, added: “Offering internet sports wagering and gaming and partnering with The Stars Group is the obvious next step for us to continue diversifying our casino offerings.”
He concluded: “Introducing internet gaming through The Stars Group will provide compelling opportunities for our customers, particularly our younger customers, who are ready to experience the next gaming challenge.”
