Sports betting solutions provider SBTech has expanded and enhanced its North American footprint, following a fresh partnership alongside Golden Nugget Casinos.
After recent deals were made with Churchill Downs Incorporated and Resorts Casino Hotel, the firm is to supply its omni-channel solution to the US giant’s New Jersey and Mississippi properties.
Richard Carter, SBTech CEO, said: “I’m very pleased to confirm our latest strategic partnership with a major US operator. Golden Nugget fully shares our vision of leveraging the power of innovation to achieve sports betting success, and as the US market matures, I’m confident of the potential for further collaboration in multiple jurisdictions.”
SBTech details that sportsbook integration is to commence with the existing igaming platform in New Jersey, whilst “a full platform and sportsbook solution” is to be supplied to the on-property businesses in Biloxi, Mississippi and Atlantic City, NJ.
The latest move, coming in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s repeal of PASPA, sees the specific design of a customisable front end, ensuring differentiation, with a bespoke trading strategy ensuring unique pricing for all US sports.
Integrating its live offering, in addition to a number of mobile first features, is aimed to “reinforce the long-term success of Golden Nugget’s sportsbooks”.
Thomas Winter, SVP & GM of online gaming at Golden Nugget, added: “Since sports betting is a critical component of our successful expansion for online betting and gaming in the US, SBTech persisted through our arduous review process.
“In the end, we knew SBTech was the right partner for us because of its industry-leading retail and online technology, their significant and diverse regulatory experience as well as its innovative product-driven approach.”
Last week Richard Carter spoke to SBC Americas addressing the firm’s recent moves as it seeks to embed itself within the market, what is expected from consumers in the USA and key states in both the short and long term.
